Our Mission Statement is to "provide personalized martial arts instruction to all students, regardless of ability, in an effort to increase self esteem and foster a positive belief system allowing students to not only defend and protect themselves but to achieve their goals and dreams."
Since 1995, we at Cervizzi's Martial Arts Academy® continue to take a personal interest in each and every student and family. It is our goal not to simply have a student attend a martial arts class, but to allow everyone to have a thought provoking and enlightening experience each and every training session. While learning how to defend ones self is at the core of our mission, it is our responsibility to ensure that each student develops essential life skills in the areas of leadership, self empowerment, public speaking, and productivity to name a few. We focus on the big picture, and know that our students will be equipped to achieve all of their goals and aspirations in the real world.
“When my son was five years old, he was shy and lacked confidence in his athletic ability. His older brother enjoyed and excelled in team sports, but that just didn’t seem to fit him. Desperate to find a physical activity for him but also understanding that he was the kind of person who needed his mind to be actively engaged as well, I thought we’d give karate a try. The day I came to the Cervizzi’s in Lynnfield to pick up a registration form, he refused to get out of the car. The next day when I returned the paperwork and picked up his first gui, I convinced him to come in and watch, but he sat at the back of the dojo with tears streaming down his face. He is now 10 years old and a second-degree brown belt. He is secure in his knowledge and confident of his abilities in the dojo, in school, in his other activities, and at home.”

“Cervizzi’s Martial Arts has made an incredible difference in my child’s life. Through karate, he has made gains in so many areas. He is more responsible, more respectful and more self assured. He has learned the importance of practice and dedication in all aspects of his life including school. The staff at Cervizzi’s is amazing. They are warm and caring. They respect each child’s individual needs and respond accordingly. I cannot thank them enough for the difference it has made in my son’s life and that of his family!

“One of the things I like best about Cervizzi’s Martial Arts is their ability to accommodate my busy schedule. Finding the time to study martial arts on top of running a company and being a father and husband is very difficult. The instructors at Cervizzi’s go out of their way to adapt to my hectic life. If it weren’t for their willingness and dedication I would not be able to study martial arts. Thank you Cervizzi Family!”

“My first contact with Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy was by taking my daughter to class that she started with friends. I watched many Saturdays as she went to class. After some time I decided that I was tired of being sick and tired. I asked Sensei Diana if I could take class and somewhat surprised when she took me in. It is probably the most personal decision I have made in the last 10 yrs. I have been able to lose weight, get in shape, develop strength and well being. The classes are fun and challenging which has made the journey so rewarding. The benefits of training and taking classes have gone far beyond my expectations and now I have goals which I would not have dared set before. The instructors are all very talented and welcoming – truly great people that you want to be around and have your children learn from. I admire them all. But I have a special thanks to Sensei Diana for taking me on and to Paul Cervizzi for leading the system and mentoring such fine people.”
