CMAA opened its doors in August of 1995. Since that time we have sustained tremendous growth and currently occupy a state of the art martial arts facility located at 61-65 Woodside Ave. in Winthrop center. We opened the doors of 2 other karate schools in 2003 and have had continued success with both schools. Our East Boston facility located at 982 Bennington Street and our Lynnfield facility located at 5 Post Office Square have had tremendous response and support from the community.

Community outreach: “It is much more rewarding to give than to receive”

We have always been driven by the motto of “giving back to the community.” This notion is exemplified by the many charitable contributions and volunteer programs conducted by CMAA. Some of the programs offered have been flight attendant safety courses, stranger danger programs, community demonstrations, and self defense seminars.

MISSION STATEMENT

“To provide personalized Martial Arts instruction to all students regardless of ability in an effort to increase self esteem and foster a positive belief system allowing students to not only defend and protect themselves, but to achieve their goals and dreams.”

Philosophy:
We at CMAA firmly believe that martial arts training can and should be a way of life. While learning to defends one’s self is an obvious goal, the development of the whole person is at the root of training at CMAA. Whether a student is three years of age or in his or her sixties, our philosophy is the same. The purpose of the CMAA program is to develop and facilitate the student in the belief system that anything is possible to accomplish. Self-esteem, Self-confidence, creative thinking, empowerment, and other life skills is what the student will receive as a result of his or her training at CMAA. Whether you want To see your child focus better or as an adult student to have peace and serenity in your life, our program will assist you in this endeavor. Martial Arts at CMAA is more than just learning how to punch and kick. It is about character development.
