St. Judes Kickathon a huge Success
Cervizzi’s Martial Arts/Lynnfield held a Kick a thon raised over $3600.00 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. This event is part of the Special Events for St. Jude fundraising program.
Students of Cervizzi’s and families attended the event, which included our Black Belt Club, Leadership and Competition Teams.. This event was sponsored by CMAA Leadership team, whose efforts truly paid off as they learn in our leadership program how to lead and set the example for others. This Kickathon for St. Jude blends crucial support and awareness for St. Jude with a fun experience that also brings together our community,” said Sensei Emily Donnellan, coordinator of the event. “Every person who participated in this event helps the hospital find cures and save children, we are so proud of our students and want to thank the volunteers and parents who helped out.”
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
